Predator Nutrition was founded in 2009 in the heart of Leeds. They are the leading sports nutrition business in the UK providing fitness enthusiasts with high-quality products from leading brands such as Driven Sports, Hydrapharm, and many more. As well as a huge online presence, they regularly host unique in-store events at their retail store to attract an even wider audience. 

Predator Nutrition was getting a high impression share but their conversion rate did not reflect this. They needed a solution that would increase conversion rates while keeping the CPA low and maintaining a profitable return on ad spend.

Predator Nutrition has been with Bidnamic since November 2019 and since then has seen impressive YoY growth and reduction in CPA.

Managing an ad spend budget with such a large product catalogue is no easy challenge with many retailers only bidding on their best sellers or placing a blanket bid across a range of products, google shopping has simply gone beyond what a human can do. This was the case for Predator Nutrition, they were getting an impression share of 46% but only converting 2.10%. This is likely due to bidding too high on search terms that didn’t have any purchase intent. 

They needed a solution that would enable them to bid strategically on every single SKU without wasting Ad Spend.

Bidnamic intended to incorporate a strategy that would use TST (targeted search terms) and 24/7 automated bidding on an individual SKU level to improve their conversion rates and control their ad spend.

The Solution

Using Bidnamic’s TST algorithm enabled Predator Nutrition to lower CPA by 41% and increase conversion rate by 59%

Predator Nutrition has over 4000 SKUs, so bidding on them all manually would take an enormous amount of time and manpower. Bidnamic’s AI algorithm makes over 21,000 bid changes in just one week, increasing visibility and guaranteeing they are in front of the right customer, at the right time and the right price.

Since the launch with Bidnamic 6 months ago, the average CPC has decreased by 19% and the CPA 49%. Before the launch Predator nutrition was bidding too high on some of their products which meant the impression share was high but the conversion rate didn’t reflect that. Bidnamic has now enabled Predator Nutrition to use their budget much more efficiently.  Bidnamic’s machine learning, human thinking approach looks at modifiers such as devices, ad schedules, and remarketing lists which increase the efficiency of how we spend their ad budget.
